We have a great children’s ministry that is a safe place for kids to come out and learn about Jesus. Every Sunday morning, children attend a class with children their age. It is our goal to meet the physical and spiritual needs of each child all while engaging them with the Good News of the Lord Jesus.

Sunday School classes for children: We have a children’s class for kindergarten, 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th and 5th graders during both A and B sessions.

AWANA ( Approved Workmen Are Not Ashamed)

Our AWANA ministry is for children ages 3-5th grade. Children are in clubs based on their ages or grades. AWANA is a Bible-based ministry that teaches children the Bible as the basis for all life. Children earn awards based on memory verses and projects that they do each week. AWANA meets on Sunday evenings from 6pm until 7:15 pm.

Other AWANA activities include AWANA Grand Prix, AWANA Camping Trip, AWANA Bible Quizzes.

The AWANA ministry at East Campus is ever growing and needs adults like you to serve. AWANA helps parents raise children to know, love and serve Christ! AWANA is an evangelistic tool to reach children; it also teaches an enduring Biblical faith, allows a child to memorize Bible verses, learn to worship and build Godly character through discipline and team concepts. AWANA meets from September through May on Sunday nights at 6pm. Leaders and AWANA Members mark this date on your calendars. We have all kinds of opportunities for you to serve. Children’s Choir
Learning to worship should begin at an early age. Our Children’s choir is open to all children ages 4th – 6th grade. They rehearse each Wednesday evening at 6:30 p.m. and learn to worship our Savior while improving their musical skills.  Children’s Choir Practice takes place on Wednesday nights in the Choir Room.  Mrs. Krista invites all children to come and be part of the excitement as we practice new songs of praise.

UPCOMING EVENTS

AWANA clubbers are collecting money for our Adopt-A-Club church, South Gate Baptist in Paranaque City in the Philippines.  A clubber may ask you to put some coins in his or her pink piggy bank to support our club in The Philippines.  Please give if you can.  We will be preparing our offering through Easter.

Preschool and Kindergarten Toy Drive
Our Preschool and Kindergarten department is in need of toys. Items needed are simple puzzles, blocks, trucks, etc. If you have used toys you think would be suitable for our children, please leave them in the marked containers near the Kindergarten classroom or in the Preschool Area.

Children's Division Sunday School
Beginning March 1st our Children's Division will have a short opening assembly at 9 a.m. and 10:30 a.m. in the choir rehearsal room. Children must check in before going to assembly. After assembly the children will be taken to their class. We will have songs, announcements, and prayer; receive an offering; and there will be some surprises, too. Please join us. We'll begin on time -- every time!
